Document Description
The project is located in the City of Brisbane and encompasses a segment of a Commute.org commuter free shuttle routes/loops having of 16 shuttle stops that are located generally along San Bruno Avenue, Valley Drive, West Hill Drive, and South Hill Drive. The improvements would generally include the installation of passenger shelters, benches, trash cans, as well as any additional site improvements, such as concrete flatwork, that may be required to accommodate the installation of these amenities and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In locations where stops are reasonably close together, some will have shelters installed and some will receive benches without shelters. These improvements will improve the level of accessibility and safety for existing customers as well as encourage future riders to use this free (to users) service, which will lead to furth reductions in Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) as well as reductions in congestion and associated vehicle emissions.
