Document Description
The proposed project consists of a new one-story, 18,800 square foot instructional building, site utilities, landscaping, and surrounding site development. The program spaces include: movement; classroom; agricultural lab; laboratory support spaces; storage; restrooms; and shower and lockers. Additionally, project plans call for photovoltaic solar panels to be installed on the instructional building roof. Proposed grading will be across a 3.81-acre site and will require 3,155 cubic yards of cut and 1,135 cubic yards of fill. The district proposes to export 2,050 cubic yards of material from the site. A 22-foot-wide fire access road is also proposed along with a decomposed granite built over an existing decomposed granite roadway connecting the new building to Buena Vista Drive. Additionally, two new biofiltration basins will be constructed where the new fire access road meets an existing internal roadway (northwest of the new instructional building).
