Document Description
The project consists of removing a 12,000-gallon single-walled underground fuel storage tank servicing a backup generator with a double-walled underground fuel storage tank of the same size to meet current regulatory requirements. Soil testing for fuel leaks will be conducted prior to the removal of the underground fuel storage tank; any soil contamination will be remediated according to applicable regulatory requirements. Excavations are anticipated to extend a maximum depth of 10 feet. The project is anticipated to begin in spring of 2024 and is expected to take approximately 8 months to complete. No night or weekend work is anticipated. Utility relocations may be necessary.
