Document Description
Replace the existing southbound Willow Slough Bridge with a new bridge, approximately six miles north of the Sacramento and San Joaquin County line. The proposed scope of work includes constructing a new bridge to match the existing northbound bridge elevation at Willow Slough. In addition, this project will install Traffic Management System (TMS) elements including a Type III-AF service equipment enclosure, a high-speed weigh-in-motion system controller and cabinet, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera on a 90-foot-tall pole, install microwave vehicle detection system, and install one maintenance vehicle pullover. The existing Thrie beam guardrail would be reconstructed, the metal beam guardrail would be upgraded, and a concrete barrier would be constructed on both sides of the new southbound bridge, in Sacramento County.
