Document Description
The U.S. Forest Service and California Tahoe Conservancy (the Conservancy) are entering into a Collection Agreement to implement inventories and evaluations identified in the Basin Resource Inventory and Evaluation Project. These efforts are focused in the Upper Truckee River (HUC5) and Ward Creek (HUC6) Watersheds. These inventories are needed to determine the status of habitat and sensitive species to provide data for project level analysis and identify where restoration actions are needed. Post-implementation monitoring will allow land managers to determine the success of restoration efforts, identify if adaptive management is needed, and/or where additional restoration actions are warranted.
