Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Professions Code Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a cannabis Small Mixed-Light Tier 2 cultivation license. The proposed cultivation project is the continuation of existing permitted cultivation activities with a different small mixed-light tier license located in eastern Trinity County APN: 025-220-14-00, also known as 141 Buckhorn Station Loop, Lewiston, Ca 96052. No significant changes to the cultivation site or associated activities are proposed. The project proposes zero grading and no new disturbance areas will be created. The project does not propose to expand the designated area. Cultivation activities include 9,984.5 SF of cannabis cultivation, propagation of seed stock and drying of harvested cannabis plants. All processing activity will occur on-site. Associated cannabis support buildings and infrastructure include an approx. 64-foot by 35-foot (approx. 2,240 SF) building used for cloning room and harvest storage (167 SF); Agricultural storage (165 SF); two immature plant non-contiguous areas (1217.5 SF); and an employee bathroom area (92 SF), three (3) Cannabis Waste (Compost) areas; 40-foot by 40- foot (1,600 SF); approx. 22-foot by 13-foot (286 SF); and approx. 35-foot by 27-foot (945 SF), 12-foot by 100- foot (1,200 SF) of immature greenhouse area, an 35-foot by 30-foot (1,050 SF) Outbuilding processing area, an 14-foot by 8-foot (112 SF) Shed for harvest storage and Administration Hold, 2 - 2,500 gallon tanks (5,000 gallons) and 1 - 1,000 gallon tanks for a total of approx. 6,000 gallons of water storage; 2-1,000 gallon (2,000 gallons) water mixing tanks, 1-1,300 gallon water mixing tank, and 1-2500 gallon water mixing tank for a total of approx. 5,800 gallons of water storage mixing tanks, and 2-2,500 gallons (5,000 gallons) of water storage for fire suppression; and existing permitted well located in a pump house for agricultural and domestic purposes. The direct footprint of the cultivation and infrastructure results in approx. 18,763 SF.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
