Document Description
Department of Water Resources (DWR) Delta Field Division (DFD) staff will remove excess soil behind the K-rails from the eroded hillside at Banks Pumping Plant. The work area is approximately 5 feet wide by 20 feet long. The K-rails will be moved out of the way and the soil removed using a backhoe. Loose soil from the hillside will be re-compacted. It is not anticipated that fill material will be needed. Following repair completion, the K-rails will be returned to their original position. The spoils dumping location is within the graveled areas near the gun range inside the Operations and Maintenance Facility.
Equipment will be staged in the parking lot area. All equipment and work are within the DWR right of way.
