Document Description
The Alameda County Public Works Agency project construction includes resurfacing of the road way and pedestrian ramp installation on Castro Valley Blvd, Center Street, Sherwood Ct, Carlwyn Ct, Carlwyn Dr, Paradise Knoll, Fernwood Ct and Norris Canyon Rd. The project construction would include; milling existing asphalt concrete, repairing asphalt concrete base failure, applying asphaltic emulsion; furnishing, placing, and compacting 2” asphalt concrete surfacing; placing roadway signage and striping; new drop inlet grates as needed; and installing pedestrian ramps, minor curb, gutter, and sidewalk repairs. Each of these project locations will incorporate all BMP/water pollution control measures. All work will be done within existing road right-of-way. The purpose of the project is to repair the roadway, improve drainage, and provide access and safety for pedestrians consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
