Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations (CCR),Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, Sec. 66270.61, has issued an Emergency Permit to the World Oil Environmental Services (EPA ID# CAD028277036) to store Toxic Substances Control Act classified waste past the ten (10) day storage limit. Specifically, a tank trailer containing approximately 2,700 gallons of used oil contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyl will be stored until an authorized hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facility is able to receive the tank trailer. The contaminated used oil is currently being stored at World Oil Environmental Services located at 1300 South Santa Fe Avenue, Compton, California.
