The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Groundwater Grant Program (GWGP) is financing the Project referred to internally as “Whitmore Street Groundwater Remediation Facility Expansion Implementation”. The Project includes expanding the existing Whitmore Street Groundwater Remediation Facility to allow for the removal of greater amounts of 1,4-Dioxane and VOCs (particularly TCE) from the Shallow Zone aquifer and prevent migration into the Intermediate Zone aquifer
