Document Description
The project is limited to trenchless crossing under the concrete lined box culvert at Goat Creek, 0.01 acre of culvert repair activities at Unknown Creek that require the dredge of sediment, debris, and trash out of the bottom of the culvert and the placement of fill from culvert invert repairs within Unknown Creek, and the open cut trench under the supported and repaired culverts under Unknown Creek. These project activities are part of a larger project that involves the installation of approximately 9,110 linear feet of 36-inch gravity relief sewer pipeline from the northern end of the existing Dry Creek Interceptor at the Scotland Drive Diversion Structure (near Goat Creek) to the southern end at McClellan Airport property, where the pipeline would connect to the existing Upper Northwest Interceptor with a new junction structure. The proposed pipeline and appurtenant facilities would be located entirely underground and would not be visible following installation. There will be temporary impacts to bed, bank, and channel habitats due to work access and installation of the dewatering structure at the Unknown Creek.
