Document Description
We are requesting a variance for a modified front yard setback of 8'-0" in lieu of. 20'-0" required in this zoning. The request is based on the existing residence that has a non conforming setback at 8'-3" in the North West corner of the home and along the North side of the residence. It would be a hardship to complete our project without this variance. To have some portions of the home and addition grandfathered in, in other words, allows for a cohesive and economical addition. The home is set on a steep sloped lot, which would make improvements costly and difficult at the required 20'-0" setback. The existing home is in disrepair and is greatly in need of improvements to meet current codes and structural standards
