Document Description
The proposed project would replace the existing 42-inch Venturi meter, designed to measure flows up to 65 million gallons per day (MGD) and located at the Robert A. Perdue Water Treatment Plant, for a smaller 30-inch meter to increase performance and accuracy of readings. The new meter would be installed in a new vault just upstream of the location of the existing water meter.

Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of the replacement of small existing facilities involving negligible expansion or capacity. The proposed project would replace the existing meter for a smaller meter. The new meter would be installed in a new vault just upstream of the location of the existing water meter, the vault is substantially the same size and purpose, and all built within already developed areas of the Robert A. Perdue Water Treatment Plant. No impacts to environmental resources are expected as result of the implementation of this Project.
