Document Description
The proposed work consists, in general, of bicycle and pedestrian access improvements on Santa Cruz Ave and Alameda De Las Pulgas between Avy Ave and Sandhill Rd in the West Menlo Park area. Work will include construction of islands, bulb-outs, and curb ramps. Additionally, the project involves the reconstruction of the curb, gutter, sidewalk, and driveways, along with drainage improvements to existing storm drain infrastructure to accommodate bulb-outs, minor utility adjustments, micro-surfacing and restriping. All work will occur within the existing right of way. All work will be conducted using the appropriate best management practices from the County of San Mateo Department of Pubic Works Maintenance Standards.
