Document Description
The Project consists of the abandonment of North Bayou Way between Power Line Road and Lone Tree Road. The North Bayou right of way was initially acquired by the County in fee title via a “Relinquishment Highway Right of Way” from the State of California (CalTrans) to the County of Sacramento that was dated November 15, 1067 and recorded in Book 67-11-27, Page 460 of the Official Records of Sacramento County. The North Bayou Way right of way is now severed by the Metro Air Parkway Interstate 5 Interchange, thus Sacramento County Department of Transportation has deemed the North Bayou Way right of way non-viable. The abandonment is requested as it is no longer a viable frontage road to Interstate 5 between Power Line Road and Lone Tree Road.
