Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to repair scour located at the existing abutment on Boulder Creek Bridge located at post mile 4.27 on State Route 236 in Santa Cruz County, California. The proposed work includes the placement of a reinforced concrete curtain wall along the full length of the existing abutment spread footing. The curtain wall will wrap around the upstream (northern) side of the abutment to protect the concrete from erosion. Additionally, cracks and defects in the existing concrete on the underside of the bridge will be patched.
