Document Description
The Del Valle Water Treatment Plant access road is a private road that has been in service since the early 1970’s. Zone 7 performs periodic maintenance and repairs on the access road when needed. The project generally consists of excavation and repair of existing roadway sections to repair potholes and other damaged locations, and application of crack seal treatment along the Del Valle Water Treatment Plant access road. Zone 7 staff will coordinate with the contractor to minimize the inconvenience for residential use of the private access road. This includes coordination of set work areas, staging areas, and work hours. The work is expected to take up to 6 weeks and be performed between January and June 2024.

Furthermore, this project will not result in potential for significant environmental impacts because: • Work will be limited to the smallest footprint practicable. • Work will have no or minimal construction-related nuisances to local residents, businesses, or recreational areas, such as disruptions to traffic and increased noise or dust, etc. • No impacts to sensitive habitat or wildlife are expected. • There is not a reasonable possibility that the project could result in a significant impact.
