Reasons for Exemption
In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the proposed ordinance has been deemed to be exempt from further environmental review as there is no possibility that the proposed ordinance would have a significant impact on the environment pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 150fuO)@. The proposed ordinance amends the Municipal Code (Titles 16 (Subdivisions) and t7 (Zoning)) to implement the requirements of Senate Bill No. 9 (2021). No construction or changes to the physical environment will occur due to the adoption of this Ordinance.
