Document Description
Provide treatment for Cryptosporidium at Fitch and Dry Creek well fields consisting of installation of six cartridge filter housings at each well field, along with ancillary piping and controls modifications. Repair clear well at Dry Creek location, consisting of liner replacement, and structural repair to piping and concrete tank. Restore functionality of 3 of 4 Dry Creek well field booster pumps by replacing two of the pumps in kind and replacing one with a small unit to cover the range of flow historically experienced, and replacing the non-functioning electrical drive equipment. Improvements will not increase capacity.

The Project is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301(b) and 15301 9(d) (existing facilities) because the project consists of the operation, repair, and maintenance of public facilities and involves negligible or no expansion of the existing use. Additionally, the project is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15302(c) in that the project will involve the replacement and reconstruction of existing utility systems and facilities involving negligible or no expansion of capacity. In addition, none of the exceptions to the exemption identified in CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2 are present.
