DESCRIPTION OF THE NATURE AND PURPOSE OF PROJECT: This project will plant forty-five (45) valley oak and California buckeye trees throughout Clear Lake State Park. Work will: • Plant 5-gal, 1-gal and D cell potted stock of the trees; • Dig forty-five (45) holes 8-18” deep by 8-12” wide; • Install forty-five (45) wire mesh cages secured by wooden stakes around each planting; • Mulch up to 4” depth around each planting.
