Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency project to replace a culvert over a failing structural section on State Route (SR) 108 at postmile (PM) 61.3 to 61.7, in Tuolumne County. The project would replace the culvert, place rock slope protection, excavate and dispose unsuitable material, backfill with Class II aggregate base and cement slurry, and repave the roadway. The purpose of this project is to address the damaged culvert to forestall an imminent threat. The need for this project is to prevent and mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public service.
