Document Description
DWR San Joaquin field division plans to remove and trim several trees within and adjacent to the San Joaquin Operations & Maintenance (SJO&M) center. To do this work, 2 aerial lifts will be used to reach the top of the trees. Hand tools will be used to trim and cut trees. A chipper will be used to chip wood. A dump truck will be used to transport debris. A loader will be used to haul logs and remove debris from underneath the canopies to reduce tripping hazards. Wood chips would be spread out within designated areas. Trench plates will be used when needed to reach the project sites. All work will take place within designated areas. Equipment will be staged at the SJO&M center. This work is estimated to last 2 weeks. All work will take place within the DWR right of way. This maintenance work is necessary for the safety of staff and DWR property.
