Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to place fencing on
State Route (SR) 4 in San Joaquin County at postmile R 18.38 and R 18.39 and SR 99 in Stanislaus County at PM R 16.10 and in Merced County at PM L 14.70. The scope of work includes replacing wrought iron fencing along the State Right-of-Way; performing clearing and grubbing; and placing gates at access points to allow for Maintenance State facilities. The purpose of this project is to replace the damaged and defective fencing. The project is needed to prevent and discourage trespassing on State Right-of-Way.
