Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to upgrade and install mechanical parts of the wastewater treatment system (WWTS) at the John Chuck Erreca Safety Roadside Rest Area, located in Merced County on State Route 5 at postmiles 0.4 to 0.9. The scope of work is, but not limited to, testing and commissioning of the system consist of inspection, testing and verifying of all water recycle system components and training personnel for its operation and maintenance. The purpose of this project is to finalize the testing and commissioning of the WWTS. The project is needed to ensure the WWTS is functioning properly and meeting Federal and State Statutes.
