Document Description
From the existing ~5x100 ft pier, construct an 8x10 ft platform, moving the existing 3x20 ft gangway between the new platform and the existing 10x44 ft floating docks. Two existing ~10x40 ft floats would be relocated adjacent to the existing floating docks. The project includes removing 6 wood pilings and driving 9 metal pilings. The project begins at end of existing pier. The depth of lakebed at base of existing seawall is approx. 5.2 ft Rumsey. The depth at the end of the existing pier is -2.5 ft Rumsey. The depth at the lakeward extent of the existing floating docks is -5.3 ft Rumsey. Tules were not present within or adjacent to the project area.

Reasons for Exemption
Pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3, Section 15303, Class 3, the project will relocate and build small structures adjacent to an existing pier. No littoral vegetation will be removed. All work in the lake will take place between October 15 and December 31. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats.
