Two metal pilings will be driven into the lakebed to secure an existing 10x20 ft floating dock with a 3x24 ft gangway. The project includes removing 4 pilings. Reasons for Exemption
Pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3, Section 15302, Class 2, the project is repair of an existing private structure occurring within the pre-disturbed footprint of the original project. No littoral vegetation will be removed. All work in the lake will take place between October 15 and December 31. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats.
