Document Description
The Proposed Project consists of the development and operation of a chassis support and container storage facility on an approximately 80-acre site. The Proposed Project would pave approximately 75 acres, and construction and install two on-site office trailers, maintenance and repair facilities, container stalls (parking spaces), and appurtenant water, electrical, and fueling infrastructure. The chassis support facility could be operated by up to four different companies, each of which would likely conduct chassis support operations out of separately built infrastructure and the existing vacant office building on Eldridge Street. The site may also be used for storage of empty containers. The Proposed Project would be operated for up to 25 years.
