Existing conditions within the Project site include denuded understory vegetation, exposed tree roots, and geomorphic instability. The Project includes activities pertaining to stream recontour and stabilization, exclusionary no-climb fencing installation, and revegetation within a 1.3-acre Project footprint. The work proposed is expected to stabilize the stream, protect the Project site from off-road vehicle damage, and increase habitat complexity.
