Document Description
In December 2022, the County entered into an option agreement for purchase of the 157-acre property from the Trust for Public Land (TPL) and the environmental review is currently underway for the property. The proposed project is to construct new facilities and repurpose existing facilities for a new location for Marin County Fire Department headquarters. New facilities would include a state-of-the-art fire station, warehouse/storage, and vehicle maintenance and repair. The former golf course clubhouse building would be repurposed to serve as the administrative offices and training center for the Marin County Fire Department. The environmental review will cover the entire 157-acre property.
