Document Description
The project is located on a rural, 20.17-acre parcel in a general agriculture zoning district. This approval is for 8,800 square feet of canopy for mixed light cannabis cultivation in twelve hoop houses, and 145 square feet of support area in two sheds for self-distribution and an administrative hold area and for agricultural chemical storage. All processing for the cannabis will be completed offsite at an approved facility. The hoop houses are agricultural exempt structures with no utilities, lighting, or noise producing equipment. The site will not have any exterior lighting.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community
plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that project is consistent with the development density established by
existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional
environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects
which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines
Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
