Document Description
Major use permit to obtain two A-Type 3B "Mixed Light" Licenses and a Type 13 Self-Transport Distribution License to allow a total of 37,446 sf of commercial canopy area. Included is a 5,400 sf processing facility for drying, trimming, curing, and packaging. The project proposes mixed-light cultivation to occur in seven (7) total greenhouses constructed from galvanized steel frames with 6-millimeter polyethylene film coverings for black-out purposes. Artificial lighting for the mixed-light cultivation would occur at a rate of up to 25 watts per square foot. Processing activities, such as drying, trimming, curing, and packaging, would occur in the proposed 5,400 sf processing building. Self-transport distribution activities would also operate from the processing building and would include up to one (1) delivery/pickup per day. Approximately four (4) regular employees are proposed for operations and up to eight employees for peak seasonal activities. Four (4) parking spots, including one (1) ADA-compliant space are included in the proposal.
