Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-LAN-38189-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the California Department of Water Resources.
The Project is limited to the routine maintenance of two canals and a concrete trapezoid box drain outlet and consists of vegetation removal, sediment removal, and channel recontouring to maintain the original design capacity. The Project site is comprised of two locations, Lower Quail Canal 1 (LQC-1) and Lower Quail Canal 2 (LQC-2). Maintenance activities will also occur at a 78-inch concrete trapezoidal box drain outlet at LQC-1. LQC-1 is approximately 0.5 miles downstream from LQC-2. Although these elements are described as Lower Quail Canal, these two project locations are located directly to the north of the concrete-lined Lower Quail Canal, in an unnamed, man-made earthen channel.
