Document Description
The Project will enhance and restore approximately 40 acres of wetland habitat and approximately 80 acres of riparian and scrub-shrub habitat within a 185-acre Project footprint on Twitchell Island. Native riparian trees and shrub species interspersed with native grasses will be planted onsite, and soils will be redistributed to create a mosaic of shallow open-water habitat, habitat islands, and emergent wetland communities.
