Document Description
The proposed project consists of construction and operation of two groundwater wells on two non-contiguous sites within La Cienega Park. The project also includes construction of an approximately 420-square-foot concrete masonry unit building around each well and installation of water pipelines that extend from the proposed wells to an existing raw water transmission main within La Cienega Boulevard. The project would increase groundwater production in order to meet the supply forecasts of the City’s Urban Water Management Plan to serve existing and planned growth within the city.

The project site has no value as habitat for endangered, rare, or threatened species. Approval of the project would not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality, and the site can be adequately served by all required utilities and public services.
