Document Description
Install a vault toilet in the southwest corner of the Plumas Ski Bowl Parking Lot at Plumas-Eureka State Park to properly dispose of human waste to protect public health in this high-use area. Work will use heavy equipment and hand crews to:
• Place waddles to prevent potential erosion;
• Remove vegetation (shrubs and saplings) as needed;
• Excavate an up to 4-ft 10-in. deep hole;
• Install a prefabricated ADA-compliant vault toilet unit, and backfill around unit as
needed;
• Return disturbed areas to pre-project conditions and mulch with an approved rice
straw;
• Distribute excavated materials at a selected location within the disturbed footprint
of the Plumas-Eureka Ski Bowl; and
• If needed, remove snow from the ADA-compliant pathway.
