The project burn will be carried out by the Central Coast Prescribed Burn Association as a training burn and will also provide opportunities for prescribed fire practitioners to participate and learn firing techniques and the role of fire in native ecosystems. All prescribed burn documents and plans, including burn, safety and smoke plan, will be reviewed and approved by CalFire prior to conducting the prescribed burns.
