The approval to subgrant a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Section 6 Acquisition grant and the allocation of a Wildlife Conservation Board grant to the Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority, for a cooperative project to acquire 640± acres of land for the protection of for the protection of habitat types including chaparral, coastal sage scrub, grassland, riparian scrub, woodland, and forest; a variety of state and federal Threatened and Endangered species; and a key linkage for covered species between large blocks of conserved lands within the Western Riverside Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan, located east of the city of Morena Valley in unincorporated Riverside County.
