Document Description
Full Belly Farm seeks to obtain a water supply permit for an existing public water system at their farming operations in unincorporated Yolo County, located north of the town of Guinda in the Capay Valley. The water system has one service connection that is supplied by a 40 gpm groundwater well and includes water storage in three JOO-gallon pressure tanks. Water is transmitted via piping underground and in buildings to employee faucet locations. The subject parcel is approximately 81.78 acres and is zoned Agricultural Intensive (A-N). A small portion of the property is reserved for employee headquarters and the majority of the parcel is devoted to agricultural crop production, which includes various fields of row crops and orchards. Pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 116275, Full Belly Farm is classified as a non-transient noncommunity water system. Public Water System. A non-transient noncommunity water system is defined in the Health and Safety Code as a "noncommunity water system that regularly serves at least 25 of the same persons over six months per year."
