Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Torrance Groundwater Desalter Expansion Project. The Project includes The Project includes construction of four extraction wells, expansion of the desalter in the City of Torrance Public Works Yard, and approximately 17,000 linear feet (lf) feedwater pipeline, and approximately 100 lf. of product water pipeline. The expansion of the desalter includes the construction of additional reverse osmosis and automatic backwash strainer (pretreatment) units.
