Document Description
The scope of this project includes installing a new entry-way monument at the California-Oregon border. Additional work may include creating a safe space for motorists to interact with the new monument. The purpose of this Clean California Beautification Project is to beautify our entryway monument on the California-Oregon border. A new and improved “Welcome to California” sign creates a better sense of community for travelers coming into and out of the state. The current monument is a metal sign on post that is showing its age and wear. The new monument may also include a departure message on the back side; something the current monument is also lacking.
