Document Description
The Project will repair and stabilize an eroding slope that currently supports a residential home at 65 Round Hill Road, along an unnamed creek (Creek) tributary to Belvedere Lagoon in the City of Tiburon. Bank toe erosion and upper bank sliding will be addressed by placing a blanket of new 18-inch (in) rock slope protection (RSP) on the lower bank and 12-in RSP on the upper bank. The RSP will be dry stacked on the slope up to a minimum of four feet above the channel bed elevation, and void spaces in the RSP will be backfilled with native soil to facilitate riparian growth. Geotextile fabric will be eliminated by removing loose slide debris from the erosion surface and installing 6-in bedding rock under the RSP for support. No riparian trees will be removed, and all work will be completed from an existing trail above the top of the Creek bank.
