Document Description
The project is limited to the relocation of gravel to stabilize and address erosion along the bank of Scotts Creek. Portions of a large gravel bank that has been built up on the south side of Scotts Creek will be pushed to the north side of the creek to reinforce and backfill sections of the bank lost to scouring and erosion. Approximately 150 cubic yards of gravel will be scraped and pushed to the north side of the creek. After the north bank has been restored a bottom row of Rock Slope Protection (RSP) will be placed for approximately 200 linear feet along the eroded north bank as a footing. The RSP will be approximately 3-4 foot rock with additional rows of increasingly smaller rock placed on top to further reinforce the area. Access to the work site will be from the low water crossing on the south bank of Scotts Creek.
