Document Description
To repair and stabilize a 37 linear feet section of the Sulphur Creek bank with a failed concrete masonry unit block (CMU) wall and improve two existing one-way vehicle bridges and one pedestrian bridge at the Vineyard Valley Mobile Home Park. Failing CMU blocks on the left bank will be replaced with 12-inch D50 Rock Slope Protection, with granular filter or bedding behind and on the native soil. An undermined red willow tree will be removed to help stabilize the bank and beneficially reused to re-vegetate the bank. A mid-channel bar has developed and increased in size due to winter flow deposition, and the bar’s sediments will be beneficially reused onsite or hauled offsite. On the right bank, 35 linear feet will be stabilized with 9-inch horizontal vegetated soil lifts and planted with willow poles harvested onsite.
