Document Description
Disassembling an existing boat lift and 20’x30’ deck, extension of the existing pier by 20’, and installation of a new motorized double PWC lift. The process will require the removal of six steel piles, cut underwater by a certified diving professional, and installation of twelve 8” diameter steel piles. The aid of a crane positioned on a barge will ensure minimal disturbance to the aquatic environment. To further mitigate ecological impact, the disturbance will be confined solely within the previously impacted lakebed location of the removed boat lift. The new structure will be pushed 10’ past the previous one and will be reoriented 90 degrees, facing North. The project is expected to be completed in about 3 weeks from the start date. All construction equipment will be transported by water, except for the utility work vehicle which will be parked on the property driveway.
