Document Description
This project will relocate an existing floating dock structure so that there is a required 10 ft property line offset, including a minor reorientation at the walkway's terminus. Five wooden piles will be removed and subsequently replaced with 7 metal pilings. The equipment roster includes a barge equipped with pile-driving machinery, a push boat, and a utility work truck. Access to the project site will primarily be through water, with the exception of the vehicle, which will be stationed on the property's driveway for staging purposes.

Pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3, Section 15303, Class 3, the project is construction of a private accessory structure in a new location. No littoral vegetation will be removed. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats.
