Document Description
Emergency road repairs needed as a result of 2022/2023 winter storm damage. Heavy storm flows exceeded the capacity of the drainage systems in place, causing a large sinkhole on the southern side of road. Repairs will include slope excavation, benching and keying new stabilized slope, and restoration of pavement and subgrade for compromised road surface.

The project consists of emergency repairs to public facilities damaged by 2022/2023 winter storms subject to federal, state, and local emergency declarations. The current state of damage creates conditions for further erosion, damage to public facilities, unsafe conditions for residents, and obstacles for emergency services. The project is necessary to address unsafe conditions for residents and obstacles for emergency services, and to restore and maintain service essential to public health, safety, and welfare.
