Document Description
Emergency road repairs needed as a result of 2022/2023 winter storm damage. Repairs will include the excavation of the undermined road and replacement of the damaged culvert. Underground utilities in the area may have been damaged and would be replaced, if needed. Excavated areas will be filled with appropriate material. A concrete headwall will be installed around the new culvert and riprap erosion control will be installed on slopes.

The current state of damage creates conditions for further erosion, damage to public facilities, unsafe conditions for residents, and obstacles for emergency services. The project is necessary to address unsafe conditions for residents and obstacles for emergency services, and to restore and maintain service essential to public health, safety, and welfare.
