Document Description
Project consists of constructing and installing owl boxes at Wilder Ranch State Park to encourage natural predation for the control rodents to alleviate the need for rodenticides. State Parks staff and volunteers will:
•Construct six (6) 24-in. x 36-in. x 22-in. owl boxes;
•Excavate six (6), 9 cu. ft. post holes;
•Install 20-ft posts and backfill around posts with compressed earth and concrete; and
•Attach a 6-in. x 6-in. base to each pole and install owl boxes.
