Document Description
Department of Water Resources (DWR) Delta Field Division (DFD) Staff will break down, fill, and repair multiple erosions located within the gravel parking area of the South Bay Aqueduct (SBA) surge pipes, along the access road between South Bay Pumping Plant and surge pipes, and next to the blow-off at SBA MM 1.03. Approximately 200 tons of fill dirt, 150 tons of road base, and 250 tons of rip rap will be brought in via dump truck. A skip loader and backhoe will be used to backfill and compact the erosion locations, and reshape the ditch and hillside as needed. All equipment, access, and work are within the DWR right of way.
