Document Description
Caltrans District 4 Maintenance proposes to repair the Backflow Preventer Assembly Meter. The proposed project will replace the 6-inch domestic backflow preventer assembly located on State Route 12 at post mile 1.8 on Busch Drive and Hale Ranch Road in the City of Fairfield, Solano County. The potable domestic backflow preventer assembly supplies water to the Cordelia California Highway Patrol (CHP) Weight Station in Fairfield. This emergency work is necessary to prevent or mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services. It is therefore requested that authority be granted to perform this emergency project by force account procedures.
